Nice clean "to the point" images and layout. The pictures tell what you can do, and have done for clients, friends and the special people in our lives. One could make it more with the eye candy (dissolves, blends, music, etc, etc) but keep it clean and uncomplicated. How's the feedback from your colleagues, clients, art directors etc?
Kirk, I agree with Richard Leacock. Keeping the site simple and to the point makes it stronger than a more-complex one, IMO. I am not sure what "switching between black and white and color..." exactly means. I expected that photo would have its color fading in and out automatically. I am assuming at this point that you will be going between black and white and color photos (or versions of that same photo) on the home page.

Are the portraits selected to all be about the about the same framing so your eye stays in the same place?
